A couple weeks ago we took Mathias in to South Bend to get his announcement photos. One of Lori’s friends from college owns a portrait studio, Traditions Photography, and she snapped a bunch of great photos of the dude, even after we showed up late, with a hungry baby, who proceeded to puke on her backdrop. Eileen tries to get the little man to smile. Note the discreet use of fabric to keep things clean.
The photo session also gave us a chance to put Mathias into one of the many awesome outfits gifted to us by longtime friend Jeff. Here we have a little Godzilla.
It's hard to get a one-month old to look at the camera. That's why we took him to the professional!
I tried to view the pictures… the link to ‘here’ takes you to an expired page… and when I just went into the galleries of baby pics… I couldn’t find Mathias’… just a heads up… I wanted to view them!!!
But love the pictures you have posted… the one of the three of you with Mr. Grumpy… is priceless! I see a little personality coming out!

His personality is definitely coming out–he smiles a lot more now and seems to grump less (even if its easier to catch the latter on camera!)
