Since most of what we post on here is “aww, that’s so cute” material, it seems good to offer the occasional balance. Take yesterday, where Mathias joined us for a nice dinner with friends at a local restaurant. It was a chatty evening, we were enjoying drinks as we ordered…and he proceeded to vomit like Linda Blair onto the floor, the table, and his stunned mother.<\/p>\n
Lori handled it with grace, rushing him out of the restaurant. (Later, reviewing our response, we agreed we probably moved “probably one puke too late.”). They both headed home for a change of clothes, I cleaned things up, and we rallied later for some sandwiches and french fries.<\/p>\n
He was fine after that–who knows what prompted it? But many thanks to our friends and the poor restaurant staff, all of whom took this little dude-splosion in stride.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
