{"id":658,"date":"2012-01-03T00:12:02","date_gmt":"2012-01-03T05:12:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.flymf.com\/chicagoseidlers\/?p=658"},"modified":"2012-01-03T07:24:19","modified_gmt":"2012-01-03T12:24:19","slug":"christmas-time-was-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chicagoseidlers.com\/?p=658","title":{"rendered":"Christmas Time Was Here"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was an exciting Christmas season for the three of us, full of great gifts, fun times with family and wonderful get-togethers with old friends.<\/p>\n<p>The fun actually kicked off a week before Christmas, when we headed to South Bend for <a href=\"https:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/jamesseidler\/FaheyChristmas2011?authuser=0&amp;authkey=Gv1sRgCODj3pi5zbrVoAE&amp;feat=directlink\">Fahey Christmas<\/a>, the gathering of everyone on James&#8217; mom&#8217;s side. Between beer pong and a boisterous gift exchange, Mathias got to tickle the ivories a bit in the back addition.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L8w7-Kbqp4o\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Next up was our Chicago Christmas, which actually took place on Thursday. Among other gifts, Mathias made off with a truck and a set of old-fashioned blocks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flymf.com\/chicagoseidlers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_0319.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-660\" title=\"IMG_0319\" src=\"http:\/\/www.flymf.com\/chicagoseidlers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_0319-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chicagoseidlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_0319-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/chicagoseidlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_0319-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_ihLYBe4A0M?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He likes them both, although he likes the blocks best when he&#8217;s knocking them to the ground after we build them up! (In the video above, he&#8217;s reading some of the letters, though.)<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, <a href=\"https:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/jamesseidler\/CorbyChristmas?authuser=0&amp;authkey=Gv1sRgCL2Ek8OUlu_qjgE&amp;feat=directlink\">we celebrated with James&#8217; mom<\/a>, stoking the fire, playing plenty of board games and watching &#8220;It&#8217;s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown&#8221; with Mathias. (&#8220;Charlie Brown Christmas&#8221; had gone missing.
